Tukse - women's workwear. Founder Angela Korela.

Tuks workwear was born out of my own need. Living in the countryside there is always something to dig, saw, paint or screw. But what I don’t have is workwear made for women – comfortable, practical and with lots of pockets. As one woman aptly put it: “Somebody saw a woman in a catalogue and made clothes to match.” Something made for a woman’s body and made with a woman’s heart just didn’t exist. And even if some of the options were practically suitable, one could only dream of a beautiful appearance.

Being a self-made man, I thought I should start making my own workwear for women.

I started with the jackets because I’m the biggest fan of them myself. Lots of pockets, covered back, easy and quick to put on and take off in any situation.

Then summer came, and there was a need for proper shorts with pockets. Today, I know that these are simply indispensable even in warm indoor spaces, for example, when painting.

That’s how Tukse was born – a workwear for women who love to do it themselves!
